    Gremory Enterprise Estate

The Gremory Enterprise's hold on Kuoh Town in the human world is represented by a single estate. It functions as a multi-platform office, as well as a large-scale hotel complex. The size of the building itself is so massive that a full mansion sits atop the skyscraper in the middle of Kuoh, as well as a guest house, zen garden and multiple pools both inside and outside the mansion. The top ten floors all count as basements for the mansion above, and contain various training facilities and other such additions. While most of the building has existed for years, the upper half was added only by the Szavelneas Beelzebub by his and Sirtreize Lucifer's wish to push Eira Gremory and Yasukawa Takumi together by sealing them in a building until they managed to produce the desired results.

    Spoiler:

Eira was soon teleported against her will and all but silenced by her brother and his rather pushy messing about in her private life. Beyond the fact that he did things like this way too often, she was already not in the best possible mood. These things combined together in a maelstrom of fury which had the girl staring at the man even as they landed in a rather lavish place. She couldn't speak as she stood here, her fingers were trembling with unknown tension as she opened and closed her fist. It was taking every ounce of self-control not to lash out in a way which could be considered a tantrum which her brother more than likely expected from her at this point in her life. Her eyes soon closed as she waited for the real explanation of this, because she'd already not had her questions answered. 'Why... why... why? I live in a different dimension to avoid this kind of shit exactly, and yet when everything is said and done... Here. You. Are.' this thought wasn't necessarily malicious. Eira loved her brother, and was quite fond of him when he wasn't interfering in her life. As she stood in this new place, she could only wonder what it was that he had planned this time and why he'd felt the need to bother her at this point. By the time her thoughts cleared she opened her eyes once more, it was like a blink that had lasted an eternity only for a slow exhale to follow, the look on her face became one of silent burning ire.

Takumi, still as confused as ever, also appeared in what seemed to be another location at ground level, given its natural ground and buildings, yet obvious walling around the property. The sky was certainly that of the familiar realm, but something felt odd about this. "Wait, no. I don't understand... What's going on here? Why would you get me evicted, and where even are we now?" Takumi asked, seeking for any form of clarity for the situation he'd been thrown into.

Sirtreize took a moment to be surprised by the amount of restraint Eira showed before reacting to the young Dragon. She was indeed on her way, even if she wasn't quite there yet. Taking a few steps forward, he chose to finally explain this pair's situation, as well as the location they now were. "Welcome to the headquarters of the Gremory Enterprise. For all intents and purposes, this is your place, Eir. For now though... you two live here. Just you. There is also a barrier between here and - I believe - five floors down, so don't bother trying to leave. Apparently you'll have a bad time if you do make any attempts to break it." As his explanation continued, Sirtreize found his path leading him back around to Eira's fore. He paused there to look at the younger devil while wearing an expression far from his normal joyous one. He was serious; quite so. The next words from his mouth would be ones of utmost importance, spoken low enough that distance from Takumi would not allow the boy to hear. "Your job isn't done. The underworld isn't happy with such a rising star also being an empty vessel; they want something more solid. As your brother, I just want you to be happy and safe. But... as a Satan, there's no way I can argue against the benefits this could have. Szavel's numbers have only lied twice before."

Takumi's state of confusion was one which Eira could understand, after all his morning had started out rather normal but had rather suddenly transformed into something very different than he likely set out for it to be. Strangely there was no comment from the Crimson Satan about the girl's forced state of calm as he went on to explain exactly what this place was, which was technically Eira's real base of operations the business she owned as heiress of the Gremory Clan. He went on to explain that this pair of individuals would be living in this space alone for a waiting for a predetermined outcome. Eira's gaze turned to her brother as if she intended to stare daggers through him, this would continue as he approached her more directly his own demeanor shifting to one of a much more serious nature. His words were ones which cemented the malice of this girl's look, it was if the entirety of the world burned behind her eyes. Her tone was quiet and measured as if any increase in volume would make her anger bubble over into something explosive.

"No matter what way you slice it, you all are just being nosy," she muttered carefully. "We're not science experiments, and he doesn't owe the underworld anything... they don't deserve him," there was outrage in her tone but it was kept at the sort of whisper which would keep the conversation between herself and her brother. In these words though was the selfishness bred from her investment in Takumi. "And my job isn't done? Haven't I done enough?" she finished her eyes closing again, this entire situation was almost laughable considering what she now knew. She could respect her brother wanting her to be happy and safe, and even Eira herself realized the amount of potential danger associated with the Red Dragon Emperor being unsure of himself. Granted she'd only realized a bit of why that was the case, and as she realized that she'd been involved with this lad's younger life, she realized she was at fault. That was enough for her, she didn't care about anyone else, it was only for him... her eyes cut in Takumi's direction and her heart thumped at the sight of him, this was exactly the sort of thing she'd been trying to avoid when she'd initially left him behind as a child. And yet here he was now by her own doing anyway.

"And you're just being selfish," Sirtreize replied as a matter of fact. "Nobody wants anyone to be turned into some sort of experiment, but even I agree that it's a far better alternative to losing the rest of our kind. Would you rather have reincarnated dozens of humans and other creatures for no reason other than to kill them again? No," he continued. Perhaps Eira thought too much about her own opinion in this matter, or perhaps Sirtreize himself was too loosely considering his own standpoint. Either way, there was more to what he had in mind, and he did not think ill of sharing this information. "The consensus is clear. The Red Dragon Emperor is a devil, and the Power of Destruction is the greatest weapon our world has. You might think this is too much, and I might agree to an extent... but the war could return in full force at any moment. I won't always be here, so... well... Szavel is calling for the creation of something he's naming DxD based on your Heavenly Dragon and the Gremory family. From my perspective, I don't think it's something you would actually mind."

"You have no idea..." she commented at the mention of her being selfish about this lad. He'd probably have no idea why she felt that way, but the rest of his explanation was the PR version of the lesser of all evils. It was indeed true, that Eira wouldn't have reincarnated humans or other creatures just to have them die, her Peerage was testament to this. It was truly laughable as an idea that no one wanted this done, mostly because her standing in this place by force was proof of the exact opposite. But the more her brother shared the wider her view of this thing became, her face shifted just a bit as the light of realization came to her eyes. "DxD? You're fucking kidding me right?" she whispered incredulously, snapping harder than she'd done in days. "This is just another arranged marriage and by definition a science experiment..." she said her tone fading as she exhaled, how she'd managed to hold this much of herself to not simply rampage at the idea was speaking to her current level of control. That and her own thoughts and misgivings about this entire situation, most of them stemming from what she now understood and the sting of rejection she'd felt so recently. "He already turned me down. Besides that... we have history and he has no idea who I am... there is no saying he'll even like me if he does remember," she said. What she wanted now more than anything was a hug and the support system she'd built around herself but as it stood, perhaps guilt had taken over for her anger. Whether she liked the lad or not wasn't the point. She didn't even know how to make this entire thing work, nor did she understand why this lad didn't remember her, nor why he was even alive to need to be reincarnated by her.

"No, I'm not kidding," he said sternly. Of all the things he could advise, Sirtreize had one crucial bit of information which Eira would likely find more suitable to her situation. The calculations of the Satan Beelzebub were hardly to be argued as far as probability of success was concerned, but there was a single hole, and Sirtreize had long since been an expert in exploiting small holes. "Look... Szavel has determined that our family is the reason someone like Revil exists so easily, despite his own many attempts to produce the same effect. He studied the Red Dragon Emperor in our Rating Game, and he has dragon deeply rooted in his soul essence. Our two halves mixed with someone who's part dragon, and originally human with the ability to possess a Sacred Gear... That's something that would have the power to protect or destroy anything. The only reason I didn't keep fighting this is because I know you. If you don't like this... if it doesn't work out for you... then find something else that'll shut them all up for good. Besides that, it's unlike you to have these sorts of problems. As Satan, I give you something a little short of an ultimatum. As your brother, though... I'm giving you the freedom to figure out something better, and the chance to fix yourself and your... servant."

Eira listened to her brother and while he spoke on the apparent calculations of one Satan Beelzebub, she had the very stark reminder that she didn't like this man at all and it was exactly because of him seeing things like this as a way to exploit his own desires and force them upon people. 'This is exactly why you can't think of people as materials, what of their actual needs, freaky science man?' Eira thought to herself. Still there was a bit of hope in her brother's words, or perhaps it was simply a well-placed bit of temptation. One that sparked within her the desire to do everything she could not to give this man his desired outcome but a different one all together. One which would leave her Peerage in the best possible shape and her Dragon boy whole, while also not forcing her hand beyond what she was willing to give. This was just the type of thing that Eira would do when given such an opportunity and it seemed her brother was willing to provide her the means to be this way. "Well when you say it like that, it doesn't seem like I have much choice. But you do know how I like to be contrary..." she said there was still fire in those crimson eyes of hers and rebellion on her soul. "I am very tired of you all interfering in my life though... there are other young devils for all of you to meddle with," she said calmly. "I'd appreciate if you all left me alone after this. No disrespect intended of course," again she wasn't necessarily upset with her brother but at the whole of the world as was her general take on things. To her it was as if the entirety of the Devil World simply couldn't leave her to live her own life. "Also can you let Izuna know... though he and You-nee are used to my erratic behavior, I disappeared for a week day before yesterday and he worried pretty badly about it," she said seeming to be resigned to this current bout of fate she was seated with. She felt bad dragging Takumi along for the ride this time but she aimed to help him this time too.

Still, Eira was clearly discontent. Sirtreize didn't quite appreciate the expression of rage being projected upon him, but he wasn't exactly placed in a situation that allowed him to care much. Even so, he sighed before bothering with a response. "Yare yare. Don't be so simple and assume you're the only one being made to do anything. What you're going through doesn't even compare to what some of the others have to deal with, so no, you won't be left alone at all until we are at peace; no exceptions. At some point, you just have to suck these things up and do what's best for everyone." With that said, Sirtreize turned away from the young heiress and waved over his shoulder. A single glance was sent Takumi's way, but no words or gestures at all. "They already know what's going on. Some of them even suggested it. Besides, anyone else can get in and out whenever they want... on a time limit of course; can't have them inside the barrier for too long. Ja," he said, utilizing his teleportation magic to disappear immediately after sharing these words.

'I wouldn't assume if it you aren't always showing up and bothering me...' Eira thought as she let off a huff. She was quite done with devil politics and all for the day. If she was being honest the thing she hated most in dealing with these moments was the outright hypocrisy which was implied by the idea that she and those she chose were supposed to serve the greater good for Devil-kind while no one above her did anything remotely interesting towards the one end which could potentially mean peace for everyone. Perhaps someday, they'd all realize the thing she'd figured out a long time before now... or maybe, they'd never realize it and be stuck trying to figure out how to out war all sides forever. 'Peace, huh?' she ran a hand over her face and nodded as her brother waved. "Ja, Nii-sama." Whatever her current feelings, she had been at least trying not to direct every bit of rage she possessed at her older brother, though he was an admittedly easy target considering he'd come to bear the bad news. The one bit of relieving news she'd received was that at least her Peerage wouldn't be left to worry about her current disappearance.

Eira for all the swearing, screaming, and anger she normally would have let out at a time like this, simply found herself incapable of it right now. Instead she turned, walking towards Takumi. She was tired enough at this point that she just didn't have it in her to deny herself what she needed. She opened her arms aiming to wrap herself around the lad and give him a hug, in this case much more for her own comfort than his. "Gomennasai, Takumi..." she apologized for a great many things with this single moment, and she was quite sure he wouldn't understand most of them. At present though she was simply apologizing that he was now stuck with her for an extended period of time for no reason other than the Satans being nosy individuals.

Takumi had taken to standing around lackadaisically while appraising the place they were brought to. It had become quite obvious that the Crimson Satan intended to have words with his sister alone, so he kept himself distant and used the time to consider what apparently had to be his new living conditions. That is, until he received confirmation that Sirtreize was gone, which he got in the form of Eira suddenly being upon him with her arms around his person. The boy was shocked, then tense. He felt both fine with this, and opposed to it simultaneously, but in the end... he made no movements. All he could do at this point was wonder about this apology he was given. "Why?" he asked. "What's there to be sorry for? I don't have to worry about how I'll pay rent now, and this place looks like more than wages around here could afford anyway. Is everyone else inside already?"

Eira had taken to hugging this boy, and though he was shocked and tense she simply continued on in this way for a few moments longer. During this time he managed to question why she would be sorry and pointed out the apparent extra ease his life would possess by living here instead of in his apartment. Now though she was confronted with the fact that he'd truly heard nothing of her conversation with her brother and it made her sigh ever so slightly, she didn't willingly let him go for a few moments longer and squeezed him a little tighter as she explained. "There is plenty for me to apologize for," she started. "This place belongs to me... technically it has for a very long time, but the top half here didn't exist before," she said thinking about how best to word this. "And if anyone else is inside they won't be for long. Apparently this space is barrier protected for the two of us. And we can't go out, but the others can and can visit for a short while," she tried to find the right words to explain what was truly going on here. And in trying to think about it more, she found herself relaying the information in a rather strange way for her now, but had once been very common.

"Satan Beelzebub, is a strange man and very obsessed with my brother. He is concerned about the general livelihood of Devils in general a lot too, because of the war. He's really smart too, probably the smartest. So he makes a whole bunch of calculations about stuff and basically he realized that your powers could grow to be penultimate for devils. Because of this... he and the other Satans decided they couldn't really wait to see how it turned out. This meddling is their answer, they want to force us into the situation which could lead to the outcome they are searching for the fastest, and it has to be me and you because it's our combination of powers that make it work out the right way," she finished thinking about it more.

"So for the most part, I was apologizing because you're stuck in here with me until we either produce what they are looking for, or I figure out an alternative which will make them leave us alone..." she said finally loosening her hold on the lad. "And it is a headache for me, but I'm used to them doing this kind of thing to me... It isn't really fair to you though, and I know being around me is weird for you, so... that too," she finished her explanation, admitting quite a bit. She wasn't really sure if it covered enough to be completely clear or not, but she'd hit all the major points. They were stuck in here, just the two of them (mostly), and basically they were trying to produce some unknown outcome though Eira had a more than reasonable idea of what was called for by her brother's words.

There was allegedly much for the crimson-haired devil to apologize for, at least in her own opinion. She said this place belonged to her, which made sense considering its title. If they were to be sealed in until something special occurred, it wasn't too much different compared to what Takumi felt was happening already. There was more though, mostly in the form of information regarding one of their previous Rating Game's announcers. Everything he had heard about his Sacred Gear from devils, and now angels as well, pointed to this sort of thing. Regardless, he had already resigned himself to being someone's weapon. If his power was required in conjunction with Eira's, he associated it with the mark he was given in that very awkward situation between them over one week prior to this day.

"Sou ka. Then why don't we get started on what they want from us?" he said after coming to his own conclusion about this scenario. Having been released by Eira, he turned to face her while clenching his left fist. "Dragon Booster!" the voice of Ddraig spoke as the Boosted Gear appeared on his left arm.

Eira readied herself for any great number of reactions, but she found herself surprised by this lad. His immediate response wasn't the one of outrage nor the one of pure rage, it was instead the idea that they should start on what they wanted from them. It was in this moment that Eira realized she hadn't been clear enough in her explanation to the boy, because what came next wasn't the proposition of potential baby-making, nor a potential strategy discussion, but instead the boy called to himself his Boosted Gear Gauntlet. Her eyes widened in this moment because she couldn't believe she'd taken this entire situation completely the wrong way. This kind of misunderstanding, made her wonder if he was constantly just misinterpreting the things she said to him. 'Ano, that isn't what I meant at all... they don't want us to fight,' she thought only to have a small smile appear on her face. To be fair she was all about sticking it to these people who were always trying to force her into these ridiculous situations, and not just doing what they wanted was one of her prime directives. Not one she was given per se but one she intended to go through with because she didn't appreciate being bothered at every turn by the elder Devils.

"Hm, the mark I gave you should allow you to use one of my powers. I have two, the Power of Destruction, which I used exclusively during our very first Rating Game, and my abilities of Energy Manipulation which come from being a Succubus... have you noticed anything new?" she asked of the lad knowing he would likely know more about his fighting skills than she would. This would be in large part due to the fact that she hadn't had a hand directly in anything he'd done since the first week she'd picked him up. Still there was the matter that she wasn't sure how this was going to play out just yet and she hadn't really decided what she should be doing about Takumi should he choose to attack her in the moment. 'Hmm, what to wear?' she thought to herself as she tried to find something in her arsenal that might help mediate and give her a bit of time.

As he faced the woman, Takumi heard something specific regarding the mark he received from her. Apparently, he would be capable of using one of two powers Eira possessed as if it was his own somehow. Now that she mentioned such a thing, there was perhaps a link to something he had been told in the Familiars Forest. "Sou. In the forest, she mentioned something like that. I shouldn't have been able to control all those dragons so quickly, so it might have been that second power. I haven't done anything with it yet though," he replied. If anything, Takumi was currently more invested in chasing another power entirely. He'd acquired something from the White Dragon Emperor, whom he now sought as a goal of sorts. Even though he wasn't interested in the battle between their dragon partners, he felt a certain uselessness within himself after seeing the vast gap between himself and his angel counterpart with his own eyes. It was undoubtedly a thing he intended to change, even if seeking such a goal saw him unknowingly fall into the same pattern as those that came before. For now however, there was to be something between his own power and that of Eira, so he started putting his brain to work right away. "Oh, yeah. I guess I can take the powers of dragons now. That ability and Boosted Gear Gift are kinda closely connected, I think."
