Two groups would proceed to pass time in two very different ways, all to a very similar end result in due time. At the park, Kazuhiko remained in Ai's company for a long walk that would lead to a few different food items. At the start, he had one thing to disclose. "It is a really popular magic drink. I never got a chance to try it on the other side, all because I didn't have time to attend magic school," he explained briefly before they made their way. In due time, Kazu found himself sitting on a bench, a mug of the aforementioned butterbeer in one hand and his other arm draped over the bench itself. He'd already eaten a small entrée of grilled chicken and vegetables, and could now simply enjoy a drink. It was quite good, but he knew one from Alaya would be better. Even so, he was happily gulping the beverage with no regard for any waste. "Gahh!" the lad explained after lowering the mug. "That's good stuff! I need to go get the real thing!"
In that same time, things were progressing in Rita's bedroom at gradual pace. Well, perhaps it would be more accurate to say progression hardly occurred. Hiroshi's pace remained relatively unchanged all the while, as he primarily sought knowledge of Nara Rita's constitution. As she claimed, her bluntness was not expected to be considered charming. Hiroshi had firm opinions on that matter. "Being true to oneself, so long as there are no ill intentions, is always an appealing trait. Do not hinder yourself for the beliefs and opinions of others; it will only do you harm. I only wonder which is the truer form of yourself, between what I witnessed before and what I am seeing now." The longer Hiroshi wondered about Nara Rita, the more curious he became. He'd normally be of the belief that one so similar to his apprentice could not possibly be a separate subject of study, but he was finding every reason to compare the two, and every reason to observe Rita as an individual to boot. Ah, and Rita was bringing new reasons to the proverbial table. At some point, she'd managed to shift in such a way as to receive him deeper within her core. He accepted this alteration without a single qualm, though it was worth wondering if Rita was even conscious of these developments.
