A new experience could be marked in Nikki's notebook today, apparently─ or rather, another new experience. She'd clearly seen her fair share of toxic gamers left and right, as Ozzy figured based on when she first mentioned playing games. It truly was a shame, though there was really nothing to be done about it. "It'd be pretty dumb to grill over that sort of stuff. I really don't get how anyone these days can talk about wanting a nerd girlfriend, but expect one to be into beatstick shounen with no bloody plotline enough to name five random characters from it. Same goes for games; it's like everybody forgot what they're even made for." Oh, he could ramble on for days about the modern state of media consumption. Instead though, he preferred the idea of carrying on about something less... stressful, as it were. "Yeah, that'd be brilliant! I'll make sure to put on my epic man voice and attack your neck when the vampire bloke is on scene~" he teased. No, he wasn't going to be taking it easy at all. There was a spot to abuse, and it worked marvelously from what he could tell. What was to stop him from using Nikki's neck as the lock to a door he could use to bypass the threshold into her headspace at any given moment?
Ozzy's attitude regarding video game approaches was appreciated. Good. Any who disagreed tended to be the sort of toxic gamers he'd rather avoid, though women didn't tend to be in that group. Well, they did have a group of their own that he veered away from, but only by fault of assumptions being made about his own approach before any evidence was gained to the contrary. Oh well; Nikki wasn't one of those types either. Where had he been all of her life? "Riding the fence, mostly. Y'know, stuck between toxic gamers and the equally toxic anti-toxic gamer gamers. It's a dark place, really. Oh, apart from the last year or so. I was at the other end of your recording for that bit," he said, moving on to address matters of the phrase... copium. As a streamer, Ozzy had long since taken to saying such phrases as much in life as he did on camera. It was an almost unavoidable habit, but the people he spoke to normally understood it by virtue of being his fans. "Copium is like... cope and opium. You know, that moment when you're trying to find the good in the worst possible situation? I shouldn't just be saying it at random like that, but it's a habit by now. All those terrible character pulls, trying to find something they're good for just to pretend it's a dub instead of an L. Copium."
