"If there's a phone in the shop, I'll take a picture. Or... mirrors. Still taking a picture. Video too," Yugi said as if his decisions for the future were assured. Little did he know, that opportunity would come much quicker than anticipated. Their base had been destroyed before they could even apply the Base Core to set their home point. They wouldn't be getting a chance to use it, or to even rebuild the base itself. No, their time here was limited.
Yugi equipped that helmet, discovered the benefit of having armor without looking like a moron. Immediately afterwards, he was right there with Miko, choosing stat upgrades that were now long overdue. His build was relatively balanced, favoring Strength, Agility and Intelligence with Endurance falling close behind. He also wanted to dump a load of point into Perception, but... that last boss fight proved more strategic choices were necessary. He had no problem distributing every available point. In fact, the remaining two points were what pushed his endurance beyond 20. "It is numerically pretty weird, but that usually means we're going to have a lot of points in the endgame. Like... our stats definitely won't hit max at a hundred or anything," he murmured while casually equipping the Phantom Chestplate, letting it vanish from view as well. "We should... test this armor thing. Might as well make sure it's completely gone while equipped. Problem is... I need some help getting out down here~" As Yugi spoke, he was continuing to grind beneath Miko, clearly growing toward an erection ready to be used.
Regardless of the Players' plans, the overseer lingered silently, considering the state of the Players and the realm itself. He took roughly one minute to weigh their progress, the lessons learned, the System functions unlocked, and the growth evident in both Yugi and Miko. With a small, almost imperceptible nod to himself, he decided their trial here was complete. In an instant, without sound or warning, the world around them dissolved, and the next moment they were both on the ground outside Miko’s house, the familiar scene of home filling their senses. That strange realm was gone, leaving only the quiet reality of their own world... albeit not the same one they left.
