Donnie had his own personal method of distraction. He told stories, and honestly it was something he was good at. Man was easily able to give words that had everyone in the room playing attention. Even the one person who wasn't just an abject fan of his. They as a group received a bit more vocabulary, a linguistics lesson and knowledge of Donnie's greater heritage. Nikki listened, "Cap must be like porkies..." she decided softly. "Definitely like porkies..." Ronnie corroborated. Of course, the explanation of his full heritage was interesting, Nikki had knowledge of the man's uncle and that man's wife from her own adventures. Still it was interesting to hear how small the world truly could be sometimes.

By the time all was settled, Donnie's head could have easily be resting on Ronnie's long thighs as he sprawled all over the couch. At the same time, Nikkit had taken up residence in the space between his legs. where in settling in herself she had a bag of crisps, half a slice of pizza in one hand, and a single oreo she was holding on to, more than a few circles deep. "Definitely some pretty good stuff, yeah... could stay relaxing forever," Roniie admitted casually. Story time wasn't over for just Donnie either, Ronnie had skipped ahead a swell, saying something amusing about a panicked Nikki, "Well, we're still doing better than this one, who on her 16th birthday I was flying out to the islands with me on vacation. Who definitely made us miss a flight, having a meltdown about ears... she'd fallen asleep with on her head and was still wearing while trying to find them. She was sober then, just sayin'~" Ronnie noted. "Oi, that only happened like twice..." Nikki said. Speaking of random antics surrounding it. Nikki had a bite of pizza and laughed. "Speaking of my birthday I forgot until now... I booked us real VIP at the club for my birthday tonight. I figure I can get everyone dressed and we can all go out and have a great night. Even took care of the guest list and all~" Nikki added as she happily finished that piece of pizza but kept the oreo close.

Before they got too settled into their high experience, Donnie's first told story about his own heritage resulted in a certain resurgence. He used the term 'cap' as a modern colloquialism of the word lie, and got in return a comparison to... porkies. "Oh yeah! I meant to ask about that crazy-sounding shit! Porkies? Y'all wildin' over here. How we get to piggly wigglys from a lie?" he asked, laughing through the whole ordeal.

Whatever the case, their fun times, snacking and stories would continue into deeper relaxation. Some time later, Donnie had his head in Ronnie's lap, one arm slung around Nikki who'd settled into the opening between his legs. He wasn't just going to leave her sitting there, so he ensured she was also pulled against his lower torso. "Bro, not the ears! People talk about how Blue Lotus don't go anywhere without 'em. If you had them on earlier, I probably woulda known who you were!" he said after hearing Ronnie's story. The laughter wasn't stopping anytime soon. "But yo, Lee... I been meaning to ask for like ten minutes, man... fuck kinda topping is that on that pizza?" As fate would have it, Leon was presently on his third slice of pizza topped with bacon... or what he considered bacon. "Just bacon, innit? You want a slice?" he asked in return, offering the slice he'd yet to take a bite of. Donnie merely stared at some floppy shreds of meat resting atop gooey cheese. "... Oh hell nah. My nigga, that ain't bacon. If that's what y'all call bacon here, I gotta put you on to somethin'," Donnie stated firmly. Leon's eyes began to sparkle. King Don was going to 'put him on' somehow? The day was right back to being the best ever, as if it never stopped! Better still, Nikki confirmed with the others her secured VIP room for the evening. "Oh yeah, the club! What time we going? I can get out there and fuck it up, how I'm feelin' right now," Donnie assured. Leon, however, had a curiosity. "Who's on the list?"

Donnie was telling a story and the group at large listened. Still the further they settled into their high experience the couch was taken over by languid bodies and snacks which were within arms reach. In the midst of story-telling there was also the matter of languages and the oddities of the 'slang' within them. In this case, an explanation of how one went from lies to porkies. Ronnie would be the one answering that particular thing, as she'd once been a curious mind herself. "It's just cockney, bruv. It's like the code-switch but crazy and rhyming. From telling lies... to porkie pies to just porkies," she explained. It was always weird to hear how one got cockney slang from rhyming words and a need for secrecy.

No matter, as they moved on from that, and further settled into relaxation, Nikki had settled into the spot between Donnie's legs and he'd gone the extra mile, pulling her in further so she wasn't left out as he settled his head into Ronnie's lap. Ronnie for her part in this told a story that painted Nikki as a bit of a spaz in her younger years. "In my defense. I was going through some things... it'd been a long coupla days and all..." Nikki said. "Days immediately surrounding my birthday are always so crazy... I also wasn't wearing the ears today as part of a new sort of look. Celeste said she wanted to make something for me but needed to see the unaltered look first~" Nikki explained between chewing on a pizza crust. Soon after Donnie was asking about the bacon on pizza and complaining about it. Claiming to want to put Leon on to some other thing if he thought that bacon was okay. "Told ya', Americans weren't gonna be into that..." Ronnie chimed in. One of her hands was now free enough to slip into Donnie's shirt from the top, which she would do, with a very casual nature. Just the same...there was a certain brightness to Leon which made it worth it. "Whenever, I assumed we'd want to slip in around 10 or so. It'd be kinda pointless to not get you all properly fitted for a night," Nikki said finishing off that crust just to quietly grab a crisp and eat it. "List is cute and quiet. Us, Max and his assistant, Gio, don'tknow if he'd bother but I put him and his assistant on the list. Celeste and her assistant if she wants... that's it though... nothing too serious just a group of people I wouldn't mind partying with on my birthday~" Nikki explained. Just the same, Ronnie couldn't help but notice that Drake wasn't anywhere on the list...how nice!.

The rhyme scheme referred to as 'Cockney slang' was an interesting one, yet it made no sense whatsoever to anyone who didn't know the story behind a phrase. Perhaps that was the point, though? "Is that one of them secret things? Like cops being pigs, twelve ─ stuff like that?" He wondered. Regardless of that matter, there were other yarns spun ─ eventually to Nikki's social detriment in some small way. Ah, but that wasn't the case in Donnie's eyes; he found this particular tale quite humanizing. "I get it. Shit just be crazy sometimes. My birthdays be havin' me all over the place too," he commiserated.

The club trip was still on, now with a confirmed VIP room for the group. Leon's biggest concern was the list of attendees, which Nikki had no problem listing for everyone present. She spoke a short list of fellow designers in the fashion industry, their assistants... but not once did she seem to even think of naming Casper Drake. Leon was surprised, but all he could do was look to Ronnie and flash a thumbs-up gesture her way. Now was the time! "And King Flippin' Don, don't forget about that! Young Simba! Donovan King apparently!" he said with undue pride. At that point, Donnie had a new hand down his shirt and the roach of a blunt in his own hand. "Shit, well I'm ready whenever! And you talkin' about dressin' niggas up? Like for the free, mami? Bet it up, what you got in mind?"

The oddities of the Cockney slang terms were deeply rooted in some different cultural aspects of Great Britain. Even so, it seemed the black people of America had enough understanding to at least have comparable terms and to understand how such an oddity evolves. "Yeah, it is like that, innit?" Ronni said having not thought about it before that moment but upon giving it a bit of thought, it seemed like the most reasonable answer. Still the defamation of Nikki's well put together public persona at the hands o fher sister, was taken surprisingly well. According to Donnie, Nikki wasn't the only one who had a bunch of crazy times associated with her birthday. "Glad it isn't just me, mate. I'm pretty sure this is about to be the most solid one yet~" Nikki said. At least today had a plan and no obvious problems she could see on the horizon. All would be well.

Speaking of things unseen by Nikki that casual exchange between her elder sister and her big brother figure was something skipped as she was finally taking liberties with that final Oreo and enjoying it far more than she likely should have. Nikki didn't notice that she'd forgotten Drake and the sad part was... such a thought wasn't even malicious, but with King Don right in front of her... how could Drake even register as something to worry about? "I included him with the 'us' part of that... that's the room. Oh and the Queen. Whenever I do something crazy I always put the Queen on the list!~" Nikki asserted. She didn't ever expect the Queen of England to attend something as crazy as a club outing but... if she wanted to stop through for drinks and cake Nikki wouldn't be turning her away. Beyond all of that there was finally some sign of the potential to get ready. Much to Nikki's own happiness, Donnie was still legitimately thrilled by the idea of getting some merchandise, and Nikki herself was pretty excited to make it. As she finished that last piece of sweetness, Nikki was asked exactly what she had in mind, and grinned. "Of course for free as for what I have in mind..." she paused finally sitting up and starring at the young man in front of her. She was studying his physical frame to an extreme. She stood, her fingers forming a frame of his body and her mind taking all of his measurements, the exact lines... and a few other things. "Oh, I know!~" she seemed excited. She hopped over the couch and headed for her room, pulling an older sketch book off one of the shelves and turning quite a few pages. she had an idea for him a long time ago, and his current physique fit it even better than his younger self could have. Broader shoulders, more jagged lines, more... clean dimensions. She looked at the image for a few seconds and then back at Donnie for a few more. She pulled a mannequin out of storage, so she'd have somewhere to put the clothes while she worked on them. Clubbing, to be taken as hip-hop but also just a well dressed night... she pulled out fabric swatches, white silk black light sweater material, leather, in white and black and a bit of gold. In the end, what she'd have was a pair of white silk pants, a nice white belt with a lotus for the buckle. A formfitted thin black turtleneck. And a jacket black leather with golden filigree down the lapels. "Yeah, something like that~" she mentioned as she looked back and forth, making minor adjustments and burning up mana to change the fit with a bit more precision as she looked at him.

Apparently, Nikki's invitation list included more than just the bigwigs of fashion seen throughout Fashion Week London. One thing she always did was invite the Queen of England to her big events. Leon nodded, remembering a few mentions of said invitation... but it was now Donnie's turn to be confused. "Queen? You don't mean like, the Queen, right? That'd be wild," Donnie commented. One more thing he thought to mention, was the fact that Nikki had just eaten an Oreo... but it was only the first she had. "Hold up, you just been holdin' that one cookie this whole time?!"

Moving on from that, Nikki was soon to separate herself from the group for a minute. She hopped over the couch in a state of excitement, and quickly got to work designing a fresh, new outfit for Donnie to view. "Scuse me~" he said to Ronnie, having to leave her lap and remove her hand from his shirt. With that done, he got up and rolled over the couch as well. Donnie approached the mannequin as if it were something he intended to have sexual relations with ─ eyes squinting and lips pursed. "WOOOO HOT DAMN!" he exclaimed. He even reached out to touch the fabric of that jacket before... tugging up his own shirt without any additional thought. "Is this me? 'Cause this is 'bout to be me!" he said. It easily seemed as if Donnie intended to strip down and change into the new outfit right there in the open ─ even kicking off his shoes again while he peeled off that shirt.

Nikki's invitation list, always included the Queen of England. That might have seemed odd to anyone who didn't live in the UK, but there were quite considerate of their monarch's feelings. Besides all of that, if the Queen actually decided to attend your event it was an honor. "Yeah, the Queen, Queen Mirellia, she's brilliant," Nikki said happily. as a firm former citizen of the UK she would always make that bit of deference. Beyond that little point of interest, there was the matter of that singular uneaten Oreo, which Nikki had been holding on to, for the duration of their smoking and snacking session only to being eating it at the very end. "Right, don't know if things make sense outside of my head right now, but it wasn't ready yet..." Nikki asserted as if that was a completely reasonable line of logic. She knew it wasn't. She knew she was higher than a plane, but... that was fine. So fine in fact that Ronnie laughed, "First time smoker fully inducted... that made zero sense but that's what it's like innit?~" Ronnie offered her younger sister.

Soon enough though, Nikki was making a design, one she thought of a long time ago, and in the moment adjusted to a more adult frame than the one she'd originally used for it, and a clearer understanding of her own branding. The closes would be comfortable. All lines and specific simple taste and touches that would make them perfect for the body they would lay on. Donnie was soon excusing himself and Ronnie would allow it. "Yeah yeah, you're gonna enjoy it... I'm a super model and there are few processes I enjoy more~" she said about the clothing of choice. And true enough she watched as the lad fell fully into one of the fresher of the designs she'd seen from an early Nikki. "That's good. You're the one I had in mind the first time I drew it... and it turned out even better with you here. It's made for you~ You like it?~ Don't need any adjustments?~" Clothing was a matter of expression, a bit less fabric, a different texture, maybe something else? Nikki never got complaints, but she was a more than reasonable seamstress she was always willing to make an adjustment or two. She looked at that fit and began sorting through her magic box, there was a pair of Gio's that would match the outfit, and fit his feet. "These are a pair of Gio's off the rack. They'll feel nice and complete the look..." she offered a fresh box with a pair of sleek black dress shoes and a pair of blue lotus black socks as well. She wasn't one to allow someone a partially complete look. She'd watch him get dressed while pulling out a couple of other mannequins, there was still clothing to make for the other two.

There was officially a new part of the 'first high experience' story for Nikki. She'd really been holding that singular cookie for an entire blunt rotation, which seemed to be at least twenty or thirty minutes by Donnie's count. "Not ready? So you just gonna hold it for half an hour? That's a new kinda gangsta," Donnie joked. Soon after, there were no jokes to be told at all. He had an outfit to check, and it was quite the thing to behold.

A fresh high-necked shirt, slacks and a coat that seemed to blend business and casual by itself, were constructed with Donnie in mind. He'd been wearing Blue Lotus merchandise for a very long time now, but never had he sported pieces made specifically for him. "Dios mio," he muttered while moving to touch every single piece. Before long, that shirt and his shoes were gone, and Donnie was pulling off his pants. "It's camp to say somethin' about King Don takin' his trousers off, innit?" Leon asked of Ronnie. At the same time, Donnie was hopping out of his breeches and peeling clothes off a mannequin. Nikki wondered about adjustments, and his answer was immediate. "Don't you touch a damn thing, hear me? This shit boutta wear me today!" he exclaimed. With that, Donnie began slipping into a new pair of pants, simultaneously glancing into the shoe box. "Hell yeah, it's goin' down tonight!"

Nikki would soon be hearing what her strange sentences sounded like outside of her head. Donnie pointed out that it was 'gangsta' to hold on to a cookie for 30 minutes instead of eating it because it wasn't ready yet. "No way, it's just... the right thing to do, innit? Sacrifices should be voluntary~" she claimed in a half-hearted manner as if the Oreos were real things offering sustenance. Still, there soon weren't any more jokes coming from Donnie, he was far too engrossed in his new clothes. there was something about watching the satisfaction in his face, those utterances and all that made Nikki smile. While Donnie stripped out of clothing and aimed to begin working himself into something new, Leon commented and Ronnie could only nod. "Definitely camp for you..." Ronnie pointed out. "That one came out of one of the original sketchbooks too... wasn't that designed when every man wore baggy clothes?" Ronnie asked.

"Well, yeah... but a more modern take just makes it look better. Tighter lines, a nicer fit. The baggy clothes era was cool but this is more for this era, and I didn't even know~" Nikki said looking at it. Apparently, there were no adjustments needed, or rather she wasn't to touch it, as it was... apparently this outfit was going to wear him. What was more, she even had shoes for him, which he seemed to approve of. When it came to 'dress' attire, you couldn't go wrong with pair of Giovanna's as a man. "Good good, I'm glad. I'm trying to see the whole look before I move to the next one~" Nikki said. She'd be posting up on the back of the couch to watch the man finish his dressing process. While Ronnie snorted, "I don't know if Gio would be happy you bought a pair of his... or mad you didn't just call him. Also why are they his size?" she asked of the other young woman with waving eye brows. "I imagined our first meeting in a couple of different ways. And even though I make most things with magic now, I didn't want to meet him, make him a fit and not have any readily available shoes," Nikki asserted. 'Anything for King Don!'

Oreos were willing sacrifices. Donnie made a mental note of that ─ something to bring up whenever Oreos were enjoyed in their future. When he started thinking about the future, he didn't know... but everything in this meeting thus far felt a little too natural for any other thought process. Even getting dressed in the latest Blue Lotus design felt like donning a second skin that he'd worn a thousand times before. White slacks slid onto his legs with the same ease he felt running fingers through his hair, and even a tight shirt felt the same when its time came along. The jacket, the socks ─ everything felt custom-tailored right off the mannequin. "Damn Mami, this is really wearin' me right now. These clothes are more comfortable than the boxers be," he observed aloud.

Beyond the getup comprised of all Blue Lotus equipment, there were a pair of Giovanna dress shoes. Donnie held them in place once everything else was equipped, thinking twice about adding them to the look. "I'm not even gonna question the size thing after seein' that room. But damn, all Lotus except the kicks? I fucks with the Fendi as much as the next dude, but you don't trust your own shoe game?" Donnie wondered even as he slipped into that pair of shoes. When everything was said and done, he stood with open arms, turning slightly to allow free observation from all present. "Come on now. Do I got that shit on, or do I got that shit on? Who mans am I?"

There was an oddity surrounding Oreos which would likely come up again. There was always something odd about Oreos but for now, Nikki was watching one of her favorite parts of creating a new look. Watching someone don clothing that she made for them was among her greatest joys in this world. In this exact moment she was even getting a bit more information out of the model than she was used to, Donnie was quite the expressive young man. "Innit? As designers we're all pretty sure that things we make with our own hands are a bit better than the off the rack designs after the magic," Nikki said, Ronnie agreed. "No way, the perfect fit of a custom design was better even before the magic," Ronnie added. Well, if the premiere supermodel thought the custom fits were always better than, Nikki would have to believe her.

Beyond this it seemed that Donnie wasn't willing to question why Nikki knew what size shoes he wore, after seeing her personal shrine to him. "Fair point mate!~" Ronnie chimed in. "I plan to break in properly but I haven't really moved into it just yet. If I'm going to do something I want it to feel perfect to what I have in mind. Besides, if it shoes, I don't trust any one more than Gio or Chiori. Their designs can add a touch of extra sophistication to my designs simplicity. A little pop of flair right at the end," she said knowing how she'd come to such a conclusion. That being said, Nikki got to watch the young man complete his look and grinned at him when he did. He definitely looked exactly as she pictured him looking... perfectly well put together. Long and lean with a fit that perfectly accentuated every muscle in his form. "You got that on, mate. You'll end up my man, if you keep talking like that..." slipped out of Nikkie's lips as another choking sound came from Ronnie. "And it's gone~" she said of Nikki's filter, as she stared at the man and appreciated his from. She stepped up again, running her fingers over his clothing and and his muscled forms as if checking for mistakes. But no, she was simply enjoying the feeling of the fabric an dhis muscles beneath her skins.

The socks could be Blue Lotus, and so could the accessories. Sadly, Nikki was not yet ready to delve into the world of shoes. He could completely understand her desire to have the right feeling before committing to a project. Even better, he understood the faith she had in two other known designers when it came to shoes. "Don't start spittin' until the beat feels right. Leave Mitty to the crazy shit that's got the sax on it. I feel you, I feel you. Everything you sayin' can translate to the way we do music. You twin for real," Donnie yapped, even raising a finger to wag in repeated pointing gestures at Nikki.

Either way, once everything was in place and Donnie's necklaces were pulled up through that collar, he began the display. A bit of feedback for how he actually sported a masterpiece was desired. Nikki wasn't even the only one to comment. "Oh it's on, bruv! Good on ya', Nik," Leon said before a sudden pause due to... Nikki's very direct response to Donnie's rhetorical extra question. Such a dangerous thing it was for her to tease a claim of the musician while rubbing against him in such a way. "Hol' on, Mami, you gon' get me started," Donnie said before transitioning into a much lower tone, avoiding unnecessary earshot. "Don't fuck around and get snatched before the party. You still got drip to make~" he added, taking hold of Nikki's wrist just to keep her hand pressed against his torso where it lay.

Nikki was very particular about her craft. She wouldn't put something on a person she wasn't absolutely certain she could make better than other available options. For the same reason, she usually wouldn't make specific accessories, like watches or glasses, she wouldn't make shoes because others were way better at it than she could be. Apparently, Donnie could compare this to how the musicians did things, leaving one to high order sax music in his backgrounds. Only beginning his own flow when he had a good feeling for the beat... it was in fact very comparable from Nikki's perspective. "Art is art... personal style always matters. Not exactly sure what you mean, but I get the feeling of it, it's definitely familiar, mate~" Nikki claimed as well.

Ronnie kept her eyes on the pair, it was quite good to see Nikki bonding with someone who actually understood how she worked. Someone on the same tier of excellence and artistry was worth their weight in gold. As for the rest... Leon complimented the look on both ends. Donnie for how he wore it, and Nikki for an impeccable design. "Really is crazy. I've seen men in crazy gear, but the posh ones always look simple~" Ronnie added. Beyond that point... there was the matter of an obvious slip of the tongue. "Ah, did it again, eh? Really have to try keeping that stuff in my head~" Nikki admitted almost sheepishly, still enjoying how Donnie referred to her and all his words. She was supposed to hold on, "Like that one too, mate~" she mentioned. As for the underlying threat of not getting anything done, "I've distracted myself from making things a lot... wouldn't be a bad reason at all~" she mentioned smiling quietly. Finger tips shifting just a bit where her hands made contact. "Oy, you got an audience ya' know. At least let us get to a place we can all fall in before you start up~" Ronnie advised. "Righto, Leon, you're next~" Nikki said before allowing her hand to relax just a little. She'd still rather sink into the man in front of her, was this what everyone was talking about when they claimed their muse was burning them up? No matter, it'd be fairly easy to turn her body... and slowly but surely remove her hand from Donnie's grasp before turning to box Leon into frame of her fingers. Beside him a mannequin to carry his clothing choices which started with a white silk muscle shirt and an open back button up, with a quiet blue lotus on the back. For him... a pair of matching black slacks and a simple belt as well. He could braid his hair a bit. and clean up decent. "Hat off night..." Nikki pointed out as the outfit came together.

A bit of commiseration shared between Donnie and Nikki was oddly wholesome, considering how their interactions went when they were close. Speaking of how they usually spoke to each other, that behavior was rearing its head again. Donnie kept Nikki's hand close to his body for longer than necessary, hardly resisting his inebriated mind's thoughts about doing something... more. "Nah, let it out, ma. That was a vibe," he assured. Just then, an observant Leon had a realization. "Oh sod all! I forgot it works on blokes too," he mumbled, thinking it would be a good idea to try finding a lass of his own at the club. At the same time, Donnie was hearing how their unspoken intentions wouldn't be a bad cause for distraction. In that case...

Nothing. Ronnie herself interjected, clearly not wanting to be left hanging while the pair delved into deviance at random. With that, Nikki pulled herself away and began working on Leon's getup for the night. As he was much more used to receiving a fresh Blue Lotus outfit or pieces, he got up with no added flair or any excitement beyond the norm. "Right, right. Let me make sure you're not fallin' off, yeah?" he said cheekily, going over the mannequin and carefully peeling articles from it. "Why no hat? I got footballin' hair! All sweaty and full of dirt," he griped. If he was to wear no hat, Leon would have to borrow Ronnie's washroom before they left.

Nikki under the influence of a bit of weed had moments of sobriety separated by ranodm moments where her thoughts slipped directly out of her mouth without filter or shame. When she sobered up, she'd likely be embarrassed and confused if she managed to recall anything in particular. Or maybe not, Donnie claimed that her letting such things out was a vibe, and that she should continue, "Alright, mate... don't go changing your mind about it later~" she said lightly. Meanwhile the mumbling of Leon was heard by Ronnie who snickered once again... "Good thing we're on our way out~" she said. She'd not forgotten at all... but she also knew it was hard to concentrate for the artist types in the first place.

But Nikki and Donnie were far from alone here. They were wrapped up in a group setting and even though they'd slipped into talking to each other a bit more freely, they were brought back to the moment with gentle nudging from Ronnie. And so, Nikki managed, to reluctantly separate herself from Donnie and turn to begin working on the outfit for Leon. That man was much more used to receiving pieces from his cousin and had less fanfare to offer, though it was it's own kind of charming. "Oh right, definitely need someone checking me... on day seven of fashion week~" Nikki said with the utmost sarcasm. At the final turn, there would be a minor complaint about the nature of hat hair and why Leon wasn't allowed to ahve one. "Guess you're having a wash then aren't you. And no hat because there aren't enough lines to support it, I'm sure you don't actually want to understand the design metrics that I'm using but trust me... have a wash, and I'll finish the look myself~" Nikki claimed, knowing the best way to handle Leon's hair was a quick soft braid which helped mature him a bit to go with the look itself. Meanwhile, Ronnie was soon standing by her own empty mannequin as if waiting. "I know you've been working on it for days, come on... out with it~" Ronnie said. Nikki smirked, "Yeah, it's taken a little bit. I trust you can work out your own shoe situation," Nikki said as she sized up her elder sister and covered her manequin in a dress which seemed have blue lotus flowers as major components and flowly fabric also silk with a huge split up to the hip, which would show off a lesser seen feature of Veronica Corbyn, a sun tattoo on her thigh, suspiciously close to where Donnie's head had been resting while they were on the couch.
