Something about the word 'twat' felt a little taboo, and apparently it was exactly that. Based on Iris's reaction, he there were a few words Donnie could mentally relate to that one. "One of those words, huh?" he murmured. Language barriers were quite interesting. Maybe Nikki was right, though. He'd heard enough of Drake to know there was no competition to be had, but the pink-haired man was at least on his way to earning the 'smoke' as Donnie put it. "We'll see what happens. It take a lot to really get me in the lab," he mentioned. Of course, there were a few 'tiny' things that could accomplish that quite easily... and unbeknownst to Donnie, Drake was riding that very fine line. "But anyway, that tape can happen. Not even worried about the reason for a stream. I been through enough to know what's up. You remember that whole 'how it shoot if it's plastic' thing? They used to think I had some work done way before AI and all that."

All of that aside, Iris was finishing the video edits... and even naming the song in accordance to what he'd soon find had become the song's hook. "Starboy, huh?" Donnie toyed with that title mentally, deciding he liked it. Ah, but there was something he'd undoubtedly like even more: the video itself. For just under four minutes, Donnie was puffing, watching the video, and bouncing to the beat he quite enjoyed. "Yoooo! Riri out here wit' the skills! Good pick-up for the hook, angles I ain't even know you could get. You workin' those drones, girl, good job! Can you send it to the Doc? Just hit the button right there on the..." Donnie paused and stared off into space. Why? He could have sworn he heard something by the end of the video. "Somebody laughin'?" he asked. Whatever that was, there was another odd occurrence to be noticed. If Iris happened to see and press that button anyway, the song Starboy would be sent to 'the Doctor' and... oddly, immediately published to the world from that person's end.

Nikki had used one of a few words she generally avoided. By British standards using a word like 'twat' in common language was enough to have some random person clutching their pearls, but… Nikki wasn't about to put up with the shenanigans of Drake without quite a few different ways to refer to his actions. "Right, that one fell out…" Nikki said about the use of a taboo style swear, before brushing it off under the assumption that Drake deserved it. "Oh I know that, mate. But now I get to wait and see the whole process, it's pretty exciting~" Nikki claimed. In this particular case, knew enough about how Drake generally operated to know that he'd likely slip up or come out over confident and name someone or something that would get him into Donnie's sights properly. And when that happened, because she saw it as an inevitability, Nikki would be there to watch, maybe with popcorn. Beyond those points there was the matter of their impending livestreamed sex act, which apparently Donnie was willing to go along with even while not having anything resembling a full reason for it. Nikki upon hearing one of his older lines had her brow furrow in confusion, "Eh? That wasn't just a slick safe-sex reference? That's a shame, people might be dumb though, they don't do those kinds of mods with plastic," Nikki said feeling that maybe people were just weird about things. But if Donnie didn't care, then she could carry on. "Still if you're on board, I'm gonna go crazy…" Nikki said, the planning phases in her head already going wild.

Soon enough though there was something else to be done, that including being the first to see the new music video… Iris put it together based solely on assumptions and vibes. She was a person who consumed enough media to have a pretty good time putting a single piece together. And in this case, the video seemed pleasant enough for Donnie to have him singing her praises. Iris sat in her chair, back straighter and a huge grin on her face, "Hm, I took a few liberties, but I thought that was the most memorable part of the hook. I'm glad you liked it… it was fun learning a new type of interface, " Iris said, enjoying the minor challenge such a skills development issued to her brain. Apparently, there was a button on the console that would send it straight to the Doctor, as he was called. "He British?" Iris couldn't help but wonder, Nikki also wondered given that kind of name had a very specific reaction for the initiated. Iris would be pressing that button though not without being surprised by the lad staring off into space. "I didn't hear any laughing," Nikki said, not knowing of the cosmic being tracking the lad. In that moment, Nikki's phone had an alert sound, also King Don song… "No way. It's on Spotify!" Nikki said, as Iris looked aghast. "He couldn't have watched it, bloody hell, that could have been anything…"
